As a professional organist, Jeannine enjoys a varied career. It has included university teaching positions, church music positions, as well as private studio teaching and independent performances and workshops. She held adjunct teaching positions at Buena Vista College in Storm Lake, Iowa and at the University of Portland, Concordia College and Portland State University in Portland, Oregon. She served several congregations in her church music ministry and is a long-time member of the American Guild of Organists. She is also the President and founder of Pro-Motion Music.
Dr. Jordan maintains two studios -- one in Portland, Oregon and one at her home on the Oregon coast in Lincoln City. She enjoys working with adult students helping them realize their dreams and enhance their skills, while challenging them to explore new repertoire.
Dr. Jordan's students have the opportunity to share ideas and performances in Play-Ins and Recitals several times a year. The encouraging atmosphere and camaraderie of the student cohort add to the success of individual students. |
